    Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) has an exciting opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused administrative professional to provide administrative support to the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) department.   

    Responsibilities include

    • Perform routine administrative and clerical support assignments
    • Provide administrative support by preparing or assembling a variety of documents including presentations, spreadsheets, correspondences and reports such as:
      • Waste vendor auditing schedule
      • Waste Tracking and Internal Reporting
      • REI wide environmental data
      • Environmental Performance Display Boards
      • Environmental Compliance Calendar
      • Waste Labeling & Training Materials to support Zero Waste To Landfill
      • SDS chemical database
      • Sustainability Improvement Program support
    • Maintain and update EH&S files and databases and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Gather data from company reports, databases and/or from internet research, often requiring judgment as to relevance
    • Work with an established project schedule, track activities to ensure compliance with deadlines.

    Qualified candidates will possess

    • Minimum of 2-4 years of related administrative experience required.  Experience in safety and/or environmental preferred.
    • Must have very good knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
    • Ability to solve moderately administrative problems and to prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work autonomously and within a group
    • Very good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must have good organizational and time-management skills
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
