    Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) seeks a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator with a “can-do”, team-oriented attitude to work on our Second Shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm, M-F. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support to our Thermal Warehouse operations by preparing, verifying and expediting outbound finished goods shipments to Ricoh customers.

    Responsibilities include

    The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator Will:


    • Work with higher-level shipping coordinators to confirm and print out daily "pick list" for warehouse personnel to pull and prepare outbound finished goods shipments.
    • Confirm freight company pick-up times.
    • Verify outbound finished goods against accompanying shipping documents to determine completeness and accuracy. Keep stock neat and orderly and confirm product quality. Conduct final inspection prior to loading.
    • Support warehouse function by generating Packing List and Bill of Lading shipping documents as necessary to complete on-time shipments.
    • Complete final check sheets and pictures of each load.
    • Complete daily reports of shipments, finished goods shortages and damaged material as required by manager.
    • Conduct cycle counts and monthly/term inventories as instructed. Submit repurchase orders variances to Inventory Control for reconciliation.
    • Track, code, or mark materials and merchandise using hand-held electronic inventory devices. Insure accuracy of each scan to maintain inventory integrity in AS400 systems.
    • Maintain shipping supplies at warehouse, ensuring sufficient qualities are available to complete daily work.
    • Serve as back-up for Warehouse personnel
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualified candidates will possess


    • High School graduate or equivalent, with 1 - 2 years of shipping and receiving administration experience
    • Ability to follow established procedures on routine work
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service when interacting via phone, email and in-person with internal and external customers, freight company and carriers
    • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
    • Good knowledge of shipping, warehousing, and inventory control procedures. Basic knowledge of order and inventory management systems required, experience using a AS400 system preferred. Experience with FMS, WMS and R21 highly preferred.
    • Ability to serve as back-up Warehouse personnel, experience using a forklift preferred.
    • Ability to pass REI’s forklift certification required
    • Very good data entry skills. Very good attention to detail. Very good arithmetic skills. Basic Excel skills.
    • Excellent customer-service skills, with a positive, “can-do” attitude required
