    Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) has a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated individual in our HR Group to lead our Compensation and Benefits section.  Using effective leadership and project management skills, the Compensation and Benefits Analyst will lead a small staff and projects related to the planning, development, implementation and administration of REI’s compensation, benefits and HRIS programs and systems. 

    Responsibilities include

    The Lead Compensation and Benefits Analyst will:

    • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs, systems, and practices; solicit feedback from management; identify trends; find the root cause of problems; and develop countermeasures.
    • Lead project teams to select outside consultants or purchase/subscription/upgrade products and services to support HR operations. Prepare business cases and cost/benefit analyses to support the selection of the recommended vendor or product.
    • Develop and document administrative procedures for compensation, benefits and HRIS processing.  Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline administration and ensure the integrity of employee information.
    • Oversee the administration of annual benefit programs, including open enrollment.
    • Administer the Company leave of absence policy consistent with leave legislation and regulations, including the identification of any issues related to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
    • Oversee the administration of the Company 401(k) retirement savings plan. Manage consultants, plan administrator, and auditors to ensure plan meets regulatory requirements, maintain qualified plan status, and serve the interest of plan participants.
    • Lead projects to research and recommend improvements to compensation programs and practices, including annual base pay increase budgets, salary structures and incentive compensation plans. Conduct and review job evaluations submitted by other HR staff.  Prepare job descriptions, market price jobs and prepare compensation recommendations.
    • Provide functional direction to staff to administer and maintain human resources information systems and ensure the integrity of employee databases and records.

    Qualified candidates will possess

    • Bachelors’ degree and 8 or more years in Human Resources with at least 4 years professional experience in the compensation and benefits disciplines is required. Previous project management experience is required.  Supervisory experience is highly preferred. 
    • Experience with a major HRIS system is preferred.
    • Must have expert knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, methods and systems.
    • Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent persuasive and communication skills required.
    • Intermediate Word and Excel skills required.
