Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) seeks a professional and polished Sr. Marketing Specialist, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong digital marketing experience. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will research, collect, analyze and summarize market research data to present to management, deploy the company’s digital marketing strategies, and develop new businesses for the thermal media group.  Other tasks include, creating marketing plans, materials, presentations and reports; identifying new product applications and business opportunities; and planning and executing marketing strategies in order to maximize Thermal Media sales.

Responsibilities include

The Sr. Marketing Specialist Will:

 

  • Research, collect and analyze data pertaining to IMS’ strategic markets, product segments, current and potential customers, end-users, printer manufacturers, and competitors.  Identify business opportunities, feasibility, advantages, and profitability for new markets or end users. Monitor current and future market trends to identify opportunities and threats; recommend and implement changes in marketing programs.
  • Provide marketing support by conducting market research; creating marketing plans, materials, communications, presentations, and reports; and planning and executing marketing strategies to maximize IMS’ sales.
  • Deploy digital marketing strategies including; Maintaining/improving company’s website contents and functionalities; conducting social media marketing; and organizing webinars to closely communicate with existing/potential customers.
  • Create marketing project plans, materials, and communications for current and new thermal products in the North and South American Markets. Implement new/modified product marketing strategies. Prepare and present marketing reports and recommendations to higher level staff for review.
  • Prepare marketing materials and communications such as press releases, specification sheets, catalogs, brochures, product presentations, announcements, advertisements and forms. Prepare reports and presentations for management, sales executives and/or customers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute, marketing events such as trade shows.  Forecast event expenses, arrange and negotiate booth design, rental, set up and dismantling. Conduct post-event follow up and evaluation. Submit qualified leads to Sales team.
  • Assist with developing business partner relationships by generating leads, creating sales packages, and delivering sales presentations to promote new/modified products. May manage customer relations by assisting with the customer approval process, resolving problems, and contract negotiations.

Qualified candidates will possess

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration required.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including market research, digital marketing, new business development, sales support, tradeshow management, and preparing marketing materials required. Marketing experience in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Through knowledge of marking practices and principles in the thermal media industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Advanced Word and Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required
  • Domestic travel up to 30% of the time is required to visit customers and vendors, and attend tradeshows.
